The new Volvo V40 and the Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid will get their UK debut at the Moving Motor Show at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Volvo have been on something of a roll since the Chinese took the reins, and are starting to look like they’re capable of moving from the no man’s land between mainstream and premium in to proper premium car territory. The new Volvo that jumps out as capable of taking on BMW and Mercedes is the new Volvo V40, a very stylish and appealing package that looks like it will be able to hold its own against the new A Class and 1 Series.
Fisker has released the first image of its new Surf vehicle, set to debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. Focusing on continuing with the company's philosophy, 'Pure Driving Passion' - the electric vehicle with extender range is said to be akin to the Fisker Karma sedan, but Fisker has intriguingly promised a new twist. Other than this and the sole image of the Surf, details of the car have been kept secret in the build-up to this year's Frankfurt motor show. The Jaguar Platinum Coverage program is a 5-year/50,000 mile new vehicle warranty with free scheduled maintenance, no-cost replacement of major wear-and-tear parts and 24/7 roadside assistance. Unlike Jaguar's previous free maintenance program, there is no cost for oil changes, filters, brake pads, brake discs, brake fluids and wiper blade inserts.
